In 1966, the North Korean football team shocked the world by knocking out Italy. This is their story from inside the DPRK.

This was the first Western film to have official access to ordinary North Korean citizens, and the players speak openly about their memories of 1966, the rebuilding of Korea after the devastating Korean War, and of their lives today. North Korean specialist Simon Cockerell accompanied the seven players back to Middlesbrough, UK, and will be on hand to answer questions about the film and the players.

The documentary will be preceded by a surprise short film (10 minutes).
